At Baltic Garden Living, we arrange delivery of garden rooms, log cabins, summer houses, garden offices and outdoor saunas directly to customers’ properties throughout the UK.
Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes, with additional charges potentially applying to certain remote locations.
How Will My Garden Building Be Delivered?
Your garden building will normally arrive on a specialist HIAB delivery lorry, equipped with a vehicle-mounted crane to safely unload the packaged components.
Our buildings are supplied in secure, weatherproof flat-pack bundles, carefully prepared for transportation from the manufacturer.
Depending on the model, a typical package may measure approximately:
6 metres long × 1 metre wide × 1 metre high
Larger buildings may arrive in multiple packages, and actual package dimensions will vary depending on your chosen model.
Where Will the Lorry Unload?
Our delivery vehicles bring your order directly to your delivery address, subject to suitable vehicle access.
The HIAB crane allows the driver to unload the packages at a safe, accessible location, normally at the kerbside or another suitable agreed unloading point.
Where access and safety conditions permit, unloading onto a suitable driveway may be possible. However, this cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the driver’s assessment and the delivery vehicle’s capabilities.
Please note: Standard delivery does not include moving the building components through your property, into your rear garden or to the final assembly position.
Preparing for Delivery – Your Checklist
To help everything run smoothly, please ensure:
- ✓ Your delivery address has suitable access for a large HIAB lorry.
- ✓ You have advised us of narrow roads, restricted entrances, overhead cables, trees or other access limitations.
- ✓ There is a clear, safe and suitable area for unloading the flat-pack bundles.
- ✓ You have made arrangements to move the materials from the unloading point if necessary.
- ✓ Your prepared base and installation arrangements are being planned around the expected delivery date.
- ✓ A suitable dry, covered storage area is available if the building will not be assembled shortly after delivery.
If you’re unsure whether your property is suitable for a HIAB delivery, please contact us before ordering. Photographs of your driveway, access road or proposed unloading area can often help us assess the available options.
Delivery Times
Delivery lead times depend on whether your chosen building is available from stock or manufactured to order.
Estimated lead times are displayed on individual product pages and may vary depending on production schedules, availability, transport arrangements and delivery location.
We will provide further delivery information as your order progresses.
Storing Your Building Before Installation
Your building will arrive in protective packaging designed for transportation.
If you are not planning to assemble it immediately, we recommend arranging suitable dry, covered storage to protect the timber and other components from prolonged exposure to the weather.
Please follow any additional storage instructions provided with your building.
